Hello Sweet Friends,
How has your week been?
This week I’ve had a real spring in my step, and I’ve felt the most positive, the most optimistic that I’ve felt in a while.
Although it’s November, and although it’s raining, this tough year is coming to a close, and we’re not too far off from a new one and that is certainly something to celebrate.
It’s made me put some extra sparkle into this Sunday’s round up : let’s do this, Sweet, Sweet, Thing.
Tablescaping is the new Zoom quiz, the new Tesla, and the new Tiger King, all rolled into one, according to the Guardian.
The iconic Zaha Hadid had all the wisdom and more for young designers. Check out this wonderful gem of an interview she conducted with DesignBoom prior to her passing.

Have you yet to fall in love with the wonderful botanical artwork of my friend Lisa Waud? If you haven’t yet, now is the time. Her work makes me think bigger, and think more about other people too. My creativity can be very self indulgent - I hope looking at Lisa’s works will do the same for you too.
This smart little Chinese flower has evolved to be harder to spot, helping it evade people who want to harvest it. Super duper clever. (Guardian.)

Although it’s not yet available to watch outside of the U.S., I enjoyed this LA Times article about the new flower show, Full Bloom by HBOMax. Featuring one of my favourite artists, Maurice Harris, as a judge, I’m looking forward to binging as soon we’re able to!
