For The Love of Flowers - Our Free Course has Arrived

Here in my Studio, in Manchester, UK, the white roses we grow along our building are in full bloom, and we’re having a Summer to remember. I’m not exaggerating when I say that has been the busiest season of my career, and my team and I have spent weeks produced what feels like a thousand wonderful weddings across the country, from Mayfair, London, to Gleneagles, north of Edinburgh, and back again - and indeed several times over. I cannot tell you how thrilling it has been to get back into a proper wedding and event season after two years of pandemic delays, postponements and chaos. For much of 2020/21, life was on hold - there were bigger things in play, and my business felt precarious and painful - a burning breath held inside for too long. But indeed, this too shall pass, and pass it did, and now that we’ve designed around half of our weddings this year - a plethora of celebrations in April, May and June, my own schedule starts to lighten … and with that comes some very exciting changes I can see on the horizon, and some real good things too.

In a way, I feel I’ve been absent for quite a while - the only goodness I’ve been able to offer you this year has been the Flower Class Sessions, our free January mini-course, which we release in conjunction with re-opening the doors to our membership community - Flower Class. Other events and forces have taken hold since Spring - we moved my Studio to it’s new home in the UK’s northern powerhouse, grew our team, and of course, had to get rather busy with a deluge of weddings and events. Friend, what do you do when you’ve been absent for quite some time? Well, one may bring a gift upon your return, of course … and boy, do I have something special for you.

Today, I’ve the great pleasure of introducing our brand new, entirely free, course, For the Love of Flowers.

Every single week, people sign up to our free resources, but until now, I’ve never really had something purpose built with the beginner in mind, which is what makes this project just so exciting.

If you’ve always wanted to learn how to design with flowers, but have felt intimidated, unsure, or overwhelmed - this course is for you - providing what I hope is a gentle, fun introduction into the world of flowers.

I’m delighted to share that this mini course is entirely free too.

WHAT IS IN THE COURSE?

COURSE INTRODUCTION

A simple course introduction, outlining what we’ll cover during our time together, and sharing the tools and flowers you’ll need if you wish to try any of the hands on projects.

Flowers can be intimidating, so we first spend a little time introducing the key materials we’ll be designing with, and how to care for them.
