Floral Installations: My Personal Tool Kit

Happy Thursday!

Today we are diving into Floral Installations: My Personal Toolkit

Each and every floral design requires its own set of tools and techniques to create. This is especially important in the world of floral installations because these are the designs where the stakes are bigger.

Installations are designs on a big and magic scale but they can be intimidating to create. I have found though that a few little tricks helps to take away some of the anxiety.

My motto when it comes to floral installations? A slightly embellished version of the trusty boy scout’s – Always be SUPER prepared!

Today i’m delighted to share with you the things that I am never without when i’m creating a floral installation and I’m not just talking about tools and equipment, i’m sharing my personal secrets and tricks too.

In this tutorial we’ll be covering:

  • What I use to disguise mechanics

  • How I pad out designs in a pinch

  • Materials I use to fill space and create impact

  • My saving grace product to save the day

  • The items I never leave the studio without

Over the years, through my personal experience, i’ve been able to identify the things that serve me best when creating installations. These are the items I am forever grateful to have brought with me to the job, that have got me out of a sticky situation, covered all possibilities and saved the day when accidents happen.
