Joseph Massie is a floral artist, educator, writer and broadcaster, and before he turned twenty five, had won five RHS Chelsea Flower Show gold medals. Aged just twenty one, he achieved a bronze medal at the WorldSkills competition (Calgary, 2009) and a silver medal at Eurofleurs competition (Manchester, 2010). Since the early years of his career, Joseph has built a rich floral practice, lecturing extensively at prestigious museums and galleries around the world, including at the Boston Museum of Fine Art, the Dixon Gallery, Memphis, the New York Botanical Garden, and the Cleveland Museum of Art.
Broadcasting regularly as the co-host of the popular Flowers After Hours podcast, Joseph publishes both his Youtube and the Cultivate blog - both packed full of free floral resources for the flower lover. His first book, The Flower School, published worldwide in Summer 2022, became a best seller.
In 2021 Joseph created Flower Class - a digital floral education membership for floral designers with over 500 members worldwide - and his comprehensive Masterclasses, sharing his love of teaching world wide.
